By far the best waffle house I have ever been to. Jerri our server was friendly and a pleasure to be around and the cook Maurice was also incredibly friendly and amazing on the grill. They definitely make you feel like a friend in their home. I will be here again and if you have the opportunity stop by. You will not be disappointed.
Food and service is great all ways leave the 10 to 20 tip when I go there.
I have eaten in Waffle House Restaurants all over the country but this one......What a freaking train wreck!!! I have NEVER seen so much incompetence in one restaurant. Young teenage kids hanging out and waitresses paying much more attention to them than their customers. Yelling, laughing, pranking!! We were stopping to eat and rest from a 13 hr drive. It would have been a way more pleasant meal to grab Mc Donald's and eat in the 22* cold car!! Simply ridiculous!! I swear, NO ONE was in charge of this hot mess!!! Where the hell or who the hell was the manager!!!! I heard someone say something about Eric, but no one had a handle on that place!!!
This was my first time being in a Waffle House that allowed smoking since I was a kid. I understand the appeal to truck drivers and at least with my baby, we were able to position ourselves furthest from the smoke. Just be careful paying your tab with smokers next to the register. Regardless, when traveling back home after the holidays, a stop to Waffle House is a must. We were quickly greeted and served by a newer employee who was much faster and more attentive than the Waffle House we stopped at in Ohio. The women's restroom here was cleaner as well. The coffee, waffle, bacon, and toast we got were good-though I could have done with less butter on my toast since it wasn't melted. Overall, I was satisfied for the price. Due to bad calculations on my part, I messed up the tip and asked to redo it, so they charged my card twice. I didn't notice until the day after, but when I called asking why I was charged twice, the manager Billy quickly handled it and got me my refund. 4 stars because of that slip up, although it was handled well.
02NOV2017. 7:00am - My first time ever to Waffle House! Chris is an awesome cook! Eggs were perfect, Grits were too! Fast, friendly service to go and the entire staff was great! I'll be back !
