The service was great, there was no wait; however, they were already out of turkey dressing and cranberry salad at 4:55pm. I feel that is unacceptable. They did let us choose an extra side to go with our turkey meal to help make up for running out of those things. I happen to adore dressing so I was disappointed. Had to ask for gravy for my turkey. Will have to go there earlier if we go on Thanksgiving again.
It was interesting to watch the more experienced staff help an obvious trainee on the cash register. Extreme amount of patience and support was given to her. Glad to see it. I did my usual book rental on disc for our trip. I love this service thank you.
This place is always on my nice list. When I inform them that I am a truck driver, They always find me a seat with excellant service this time from Miss Elise and she was top shelf.
No matter which restaurant you go, it's always the same! That's a good thing! If you love down home, made from real ingredients, hot and served fresh then come in and enjoy a home cooked meal out on the road! Also don't forget to browse the country store for old fashioned candy, soda, and great souvenirs!
Have had two meals at this particular Cracker Barrel. First meal was supposed to be a Hamburger Steak and fries. The hamburger steak was raw(ordered medium well), fries were very greasy, and the sweet tea was sour. Second meal I had three eggs over medium, country ham, hash brown casserole, fried apples, and white toast. Eggs were extremely over cooked, the country ham wasn’t cooked enough, and the toast wasn’t buttered or cut in half. Only decent thing to eat was the Hash-brown casserole and apples. Both times the waitresses were push and had poor hygiene. At the prices Cracker Barrel charges for a meal. You think it would be edible!!
